Knowbita respects your right to have your personal data deleted. This page explains how a Facebook user or any individual can request deletion of the data we hold, and provides the callback that Facebook uses when you remove our app.
Option A — Remove the app from Facebook (automatic)
If your data reached Knowbita because you authorized our app on Facebook, you can trigger deletion directly from Facebook:
- Go to Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
- Find Knowbita in the list and select Remove.
- Facebook will notify Knowbita through our secure Data Deletion Callback. We will delete the Facebook access tokens and Meta-sourced data associated with your account and record a confirmation code.
When Facebook sends this request, we return a confirmation code and a status URL. You can check the status of any deletion request below.
Option B — Request deletion by email (manual)
To request deletion of any personal data we hold about you — including leads captured via Meta Lead Ads — email privacy@knowbita.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and the phone number or email address used. We will verify the request and permanently delete the data within 30 days, then confirm by email.
What gets deleted
- Facebook / Meta Page access tokens stored for your connected Pages.
- Lead records and timeline entries sourced from Meta Lead Ads that correspond to your request.
- Any queued Conversions API events tied to those records.
